What We Do
The RDC convenes a mix of in-person and virtual exchanges throughout the year to support peer learning, dialogue, and knowledge sharing among member agencies.
Objectives
Our activities are designed to achieve four main expected outcomes:
01 Strengthened Cross-Agency Learning
Members demonstrate deeper understanding of peer agencies and utilize RDC exchanges in internal discussions.
02 Enhanced Trust and Informal Coordination
The RDC acts as a trusted space for candid exchange, strengthening professional relationships and increasing opportunities for member engagement outside of RDC meetings.
03 Applied Knowledge Sharing
RDC discussions inform and support other agencies facing similar challenges.
04 Inclusive and Active Engagement
Participating agencies contribute to shaping RDC activities, creating an inclusive forum for discussion and reinforcing shared ownership of the group.

Our annual meetings and events include:
Virtual Thematic Exchange
The RDC holds a series of virtual meetings throughout the year to unpack emerging issues, share experiences, and discuss priority themes identified by members. Past meetings have focused on: responses to USAID closure, priorities for the Financing for Development Forum, and strategies for engaging philanthropy.
Annual In-Person Meeting
The RDC convenes one in-person meeting each year, providing an anchor for in-depth exchange, relationship-building, and strategic reflection among members. These meetings are hosted by rotating members who input key themes into the agenda.
Additional Formats
The RDC is exploring additional activities based on demand from members, including more focused peer exchanges or thematic discussions to support capacity building. Our annual work program is flexible and activities are driven by member demands.
